Moon's
Daughter
I am 29 years old
(soon to be 30) and ha've been studying the Craft on and off for almost
15 years. I got serious about studying about 6 years ago, and have been
practicing for just over a year now. I don't feel that I chose this
path, not really... it's more like it chose me...
I am very eclectic, and solitary,
as much by choice as by necessity. I have leanings towards the Celtic,
Norse, and Native American pantheons, with a "patron" from each. I have
several totems: white wolf, golden eagle, deer, and mantis. I practice
because this is the life that feels right. It's really that simple.
I believe that the most important
things are to "always, in any situation, choose that which does the most
good, or the least harm" and, "remember balance"
I am concentrating on herbalism,
runes, religious debate, web-pages (right now, these are mostly just hobbies,
but I am planning to go back to school to study herbalism, psychology,
and religious history, in the near future)

help enlightened some newcomers.

I am 29 years old.
I have been living the Pagan life most of my days, though Wicca "discovered"
me just 9 years ago when I was 20. After not quite 2 years
of study, I was initiated into a coven, an experience which was very
educational for me.
Through many moves over
the years, I have established my path to be that of the eclectic solitairy,
and it truly *is* my life. I am drawn to Tamaran Wicca and the Egyptian
Deities, my Patroness is the Living Goddess Sekhmet.
I also am a student of Shamanism.
My totems make their presence well known in my life! My most
constant totem animal is Raven, a creature that has held great fascination
for me since early childhood. I have assumed the responsibility
of caregiver to two wild ravens who have presented themselves to me...
one of which is still with me.
My interests are varied,
but include: Divination (specifically scrying and runes, some tarot
though I am not particularly adept with the cards as of yet), astral projection,
telepathy, crystal and candle magick, past life studies, outdoors/nature
and animals, Herbs and Aromatherapy. However, my main concentration
is on my relationship with Deity, all else I see as being supportive
of that.

I am 43 and have
been practicing for 4 months now, but studying on and off for most of my
life.I chose this because I finally realized this is where I belong and
feel the happiest. I have been pulled toward it all my life. I can
remember back to age of three and have colored balls come out of my closet
in the dark and dance around the room for me. Knowing things before
other people. I thought everyone did this, and
talked about it, then people thought I was strange. So I stopped
talking to them about it. I remember: seeing little people in my
room when I was about 10; having an invisible cat come to me when
I was sick; and staying for the company, having someone turn
up the heat when I am cold and no one being home but me; something invisible
holding the car I was trying to leave in, then let go after a car and the
police following went by in a high speed chase; and so much more.
I have 3 totems: the first
is a Deer, then a Raven, and a Wolf. They all be different thing to me
and are different parts of me.
Favourite Things: Studying
and learning my path, reading, quilting, all crafts, genealogy
Personal Statement:
I will treat you with respect if you treat me with respect. Don't
lead me, don't follow me, stand beside me and be my friend
Concentrations: Candle Magick,
Shamanism, Faerie Wicca.
Things that I do: Astral
travel, psychic visions,
Things I am good at: Listening
to people, and helping

I am 19 years old
and have been practicing the craft for about two or three years now.
The more I read about it, the more it made sense to me. Over all, it didn't
change my basic make-up because it was merely an extension of what I already
believed. I loved it from the moment I tried it and I knew this was my
path. I am a Solitary Eclectic at the moment with specialties in the Egyptian
pantheon.
I practice because I love
it and it makes me feel like a wholeperson I have a totem, a White
tiger (also my spirit guide), and several spirit animals: lion, cheetah,
dragon, phoenix, and unicorn.
Personal statement: Ankh
if you love Anubis! :)
favorite things: triangles,
pyramids, music, anime, manga, comics, movies, and Wicca
Concentrations: Angels,
communicating with the other planes, channeling, Egyptian myths and pantheon,
fire element, astrology, Tarot, telepathy, telekinesis, spirit guides, totems,
andMythology ingeneral

I haven't found
my Craft name yet. I'm 17 years old. I've been studying the Craft for about
7 or 8 months now, and have always had an interest in it.
I'm solitary, and I guess I'm eclectic, because I study a little
about everything. I'm very interested in Celtic/Irish lore
though. I find dream interpretation interesting, as well as
candle magick.

I am 24 years old
and have been practicing the craft since November. I am a solitary wittan
(the irish pagan path). I have a familiar (my black cat) & she
has been present at most of my rituals or meditation times. She ate
my cookies that I was using in my Yule ritual! (LOL!)
Concentrations: I am always
trying to study more when I can. I meditate mostly by music, whatever
I feel like listening to at the time (I listen to mostly
techo/ambient like music but I do listen to celtic music as
well!)
Favorite quote: I haven't
been the same since that house fell on my sister!!

I am 26 years
old and have you been practicing the craft for 5 years. It
just evolved into my path. I'm a solitary, although I do have Pagan friends
with whom I do social things - and lately, we've been getting together
on full and newmoons - not to 'celebrate' them per se - just to go up the
top of a bighill, or out to
a deserted beach, and just
appreciate the wonder and beauty of it all. I describe myself as
a Wiccan/Shamanic/Generic Pagan, whose path keeps changing every time she
turns her back, because that's reallyhow it seems to happen for me.
I think that, due to the way I am, I will never find ' the right path'
for me - or rather, that ' the right path for me' is one that changes and
evolves as I do - just because something is no longer right for me, doesn't
mean it never was ;-) Part of me envies those who have found
and settled into a path
that is right for them - the rest of me just loves the spiritual adventure
I'm launching myself into every day ;-)
I'm interested in studying
all aspects of intuitive and psychic work - I'm currently trying to teach
myself to see auras and energy fields. I can work with them at the
moment (usually alongside someone who knows what they're doing)- channeling
energy for healing and re-energising myself from the earth and sky - but
I
always feel like I'm working
blind, with no kind of feedback from any of my senses as to how I'm going.
I'm also trying to do somedreamwork - but I'm shockingly bad at remembering
to write my dreams down in the morning. I guess I can call myself
a herbwitch also - I have my herb garden and love dispensing herbal healing
advice to friends and family (I have actually studied a few courses in
herbal fundamentals, plus read a huge number of books, so while I couldn't
set myself up as a registered herbalist, I'm happy to treat myself and
my nearest and dearest).
What else... I try
to meditate regularly - but a little like with the dreamwork - mundane
life keeps intervening - I know it's a fairly feeble excuse - and eventually
I'll get disciplined about it. I guess I'd call myself moderately
empathic also - although, unlike many that I've heard from, I've learned
to construct very tight shields that will usually keep it under control
(although they have a habit of dying on me when Idon't give
myself the required sleep
and/or food resources to keep mehealthy - being around me when they do
die, and I suddenly go crowd phobic is apparently a somewhat disturbing
experience.
I'm an avid user of candlemagic
as well - both ritually, and just because I love watching candles burn.
I'll also use essential oils, both aromatheripically, and magically (for
example, when I'm studying, I'll burn my own blend of rosemary, basil and
blackpepper for purely mundane reasons - when I want to dream, I'll putsandalwood
on my pillow for magical ones. Granted, the line is blurred, but
I'm not too
worried ;-)
If I had to say the one
thing I can offer to the group, it's academic knowledge of crystals, essential
oils, herbs and myths and legends. I read a great deal, and take
in a lot. I'm know that I'm weak, however, in the
practice of the craft -
experiential knowledge - and this is what I really want to strengthen myself
in.
