Celtic Cross *
The first card in the layout represents the present position. This is the current situation and the questioner.

The second card represents the immediate influence This shows imediate sphere or obstacles, this card crosses the questioner.

The third card in the layout represents the goal or destiny. Shows the questioners aim or ideal, or the best they can hope to achieve in these circumstances.

The fourth card in the layout represents the distant past. This is the foundation of the environment the questioner is now in.

The fifth card in the layout symbolizes the recent past. This could be things that have recently happened are are happening and are exerting influence on current events.

The sixth card in the layout represents the future influence. This is things that will happen or influences that will affect the outcome.

The seventh card in the layout represents the questioner. This is the present position or attitude within these circumstances.

The eighth card in the layout represents the environment. This refers to your influence on other people and their influences on you.

The ninth card in the layout represents inner desires or fears. This shows you things you may be hiding or revelations that will come in the future, including additional questions.

The tenth card  in the layout represents final result. If things continue as they are this is the likely outcome of these circumstances.

Deal all of the cards in the order given. If you misplace a card, leave it and continue as you should have. Let the cards lay where they will. 

The top row is the past and should be read first. The bottom row is the future and should be read next. The last row is the present, with the center being the questioner or the "heart" of the situation. This may also suggest  what will happen with the questioner.

If you need further clarification of a card or situation, you may consult the cards below it. Do not read to much into these, but get a general impression of the influences on that situation or card.
